Art... for a Cause

Central Creative Group recently participated in the Beautiful Art Benefit, partnering with California artist Melanie VanderWal (shown above), former Beautiful Gate volunteers, and local businesses to help launch the event.

The event was organized to help raise awareness of how poverty and HIV/AIDS has devastated the tiny country of Lesotho, Africa. The event's other goal was to raise funds for the Beautiful Gate childcare center in Lesotho, a donor-funded organization that is making a difference by caring for abandoned babies and families in need.

Original artwork inspired by Melanie’s time at Beautiful Gate was auctioned off in a silent auction with all proceeds going to center.
