Utilizing Wordpress as a great platform for non-profits

Wordpress is a great platform for personal blogging, but it can also be used by businesses and non-profits as a light-weight content management system (CMS). Wordpress is wonderful for clients wishing for a simple method by which to enter content into their website on an ongoing basis.

Creating a fully Customized Wordpress Site

The key to making Wordpress feasible for such use is customizing the software’s front end design and taking advantage of custom fields on the back-end. By doing so, it’s possible to implement a fully-customized, flexible web site.

Such is the case with the site that Central Creative Group recently launched for Beautiful Africa. Built on Wordpress, the site features a fully customized design and numerous enhancements derived from the use of custom fields.

The site also features full integration with social media sites, including Beautiful Africa’s Twitter Feed and Facebook Fan Page.
